Public Meeting Scheduled for Debbie Lane Project

The Public Works Department is pleased to announce that construction to transform Debbie Lane (City Limits to SH360) is scheduled to begin in June 2023.

This project, which is estimated to be completed by April 2025, includes the following improvements:

• Widening Debbie Lane to a 4-lane concrete roadway, including raised medians, streetlights, landscaping, and sidewalks
• Drainage system improvements, water, and sanitary sewer line extensions
• New traffic signals at Tabasco Trail, South Collins Street, Lost Canyon Trail, Glenn Day Drive/ Ragland Road, and at the RaceTrac/Sonic driveway.

The Public Works Department will be holding a public meeting on Thursday, June 15, 2023, to provide information on the Debbie Lane (City limits to SH360) construction project. This meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Cafeteria at the Della Icenhower Intermediate School located at 8100 Webb Ferrell Road, Arlington, Texas 76002. There will be a short presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.

This project was approved by Arlington voters in the 2018 Bond Election and is funded by street bond funds, water bond funds, sanitary sewer renewal funds, and Tarrant County Commissioners Court through the Tarrant County 2021 Transportation Bond.

This project aligns with City Council’s Priority to Enhance Regional Mobility.
