On Monday, June 26, 2023, at approximately 11:14 p.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to the 3700 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive to investigate a single-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the driver of the motorcycle, a 28-year-old man, lying unresponsive in the roadway. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased from his injuries.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has publicly identified him as Jarrin Stephens of Euless.

Based on their investigation, officers believe Mr. Stephens was traveling northbound along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive when he struck the center median curb, lost control of the bike, and was thrown. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
