Public Meeting Set for Center St./MLK Jr. Dr. Project

The public is invited to attend a public meeting for the Center Street/Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive project in Arlington. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bob Duncan Recreation Center (Main Hall) located at 2800 South Center Street, Arlington. Project information and maps will be available at the meeting.
A pre-recorded, narrated video presentation of the proposed project will also be available on Tuesday, July 25. The presentation will remain available for viewing through Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 11:59 p.m., at www.txdot.gov.
The proposed 1.18-mile project would connect Center Street/Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive from East Bardin Road to Engleside Drive. The new roadway would be an extension of the existing Center Street, with two north and southbound lanes separated by a raised median.
