The Arlington Black Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural D/FW Military & Veterans Power Networking Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 at Cherry Moon Grill & Bar, 3610 S. Cooper St. Suite 120 in Arlington.
The event aims to help key veterans resource groups meet and exceed the needs of today's active military and veterans, build capacity to serve, and force multiply their impact. A buffet-style brunch will be served. Tickets are on sale for $25 and a portion of the proceeds will support multiple charities that serve veterans, event organizers said. Register at Bit.ly/ABCCVetsPowerBrunch.
Special guests include Mansfield Mayor Dr. Michael Evans, a U.S. Navy veteran, and Arlington Mayor Jim Ross, a U.S. Marine veteran. The networking brunch host moderator is SSG Antwan Bradley, Station Commander for U.S. Army Recruiting Command.
