February 2023 Student-Athlete of the Month: Paul Nguyen

Paul Nguyen, a sophomore on Seguin High School’s swimming team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for February 2023.

With a second place finish in the 50-meter freestyle at Regionals, Nguyen was the only Arlington ISD student-athlete to qualify for the UIL State Swim Meet in Austin.

“He’s a leader in the water,” said Tony Tullbane, Seguin Head Swimming Coach. “As a teammate, one of the greatest things he does is brings it every day.”

Nguyen, whose favorite subject is Math, plans on majoring in engineering after he graduates.
