On the next great adventure of Explore Arlington, Mayor Jim Ross heads to the rink at The Parks Mall at Arlington located at 3811 S Cooper St.

The ICE at The Parks is Arlington’s only full-sized ice-skating rink. Opened in Nov, 2002, the ice skating surface is a full size, regulation NHL hockey rink. The rink is open to the public. It is a great place to come join your friends and skate, play hockey, have an ice-skating party or learn to skate from one of their highly qualified instructors. Skaters can enter a figure skating competition or skate in one of the annual seasonal skating shows at The ICE at The Parks.

“When you get the chance, get out here to The Parks Mall and try ice skating,” Ross said. “I didn’t make it look pretty, but it sure was fun. Come out here and bring the family. You can see a movie, then ice skate and have a good time.”

Explore Arlington take viewers on a journey across multiple small businesses, tourism destinations, outdoor activities and many other venues and topics highlighting all of the fun things happening in The American Dream City.
