City of Arlington Proposing Building Code Updates

The City of Arlington is currently reviewing and considering adoption of the 2021 International Building Codes, together with the 2020 National Electrical Code. The codes and their proposed local amendments are:
  • 2021 Editions of the International Building Code, International Energy Conservation Code, International Residential Code, International Existing Building Code, and International Swimming Pool and Spa Code
  • 2021 Edition of the International Mechanical Code
  • 2021 Edition of the International Plumbing Code and the International Fuel Gas Code
  • 2021 Edition of the International Fire Code
  • 2020 Edition of the National Electrical Code
