The Public Works Department is pleased to announce that after 10 months of work, major construction to rebuild portions of five residential streets in East Arlington has been completed. Since August 2021, contractors had been working on roadway and other infrastructure improvements on the following streets:

This project was part of the City’s program to rebuild residential streets throughout the city that have deteriorated beyond general maintenance and included the following improvements:
Funding for this project was approved by Arlington voters as part of the $137M Street Improvements package included in the 2018 Bond Election. This project aligns with the City Council’s priorities to Enhance Regional Mobility and Champion Great Neighborhoods.
