The third and final round of public input opportunities to help shape the City of Arlington's South SH 360 Corridor Development Strategy is open from Jan. 18-31, 2022, including a virtual public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2022. This public input period will unveil the complete draft Strategy document for public review and feedback. A link to the meeting and the draft Strategy document will be posted on the project website.

The City of Arlington began work on this strategy in May 2021 to create a vision and associated implementation strategies to ensure the future success of the corridor. The study is intended to guide future development, strengthen neighborhoods, build community capacity, improve transportation and safety, enhance economic development, and position the South SH 360 Corridor as a strong southeastern gateway to Arlington.

The City aims to gather significant and meaningful citizen input about the corridor through an online survey, public meeting, and other community outreach events. The public input windows are designed to provide opportunities for citizens to participate in the process, provide input, and review draft plan materials.

Public Input Period #3: January 18-31, 2022.

Public Meeting #3: January 24th at 6:30 pm.

At the conclusion of the final public input period, the draft Strategy will be prepared for adoption by the City Council. The South SH 360 Corridor Development Strategy is planned to be adopted as a component of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, 99 Square Miles, in March 2022.
