Bienvenidos and welcome to the World of Soccer! Professional soccer has come to town and we are excited to host a breakdown of Soccer/Fútbol for our community in collaboration with the Parks, Recreation, & Culture department. This program will include a brief history of sport of soccer as well as the opportunity to test your skills at drills the teams practice in the big leagues! So put on your sneakers, grab your water bottles, and have some fun playing soccer with us!
This program is designed for ages 8-17 and due to the nature of the sport, younger children are encouraged to use caution and have a guardian present. Soccer balls are provided but are of a limited supply.
The program will be located in the green space outside of the East Library & Recreation Center located at 1817 New York Ave in between the building and the outside courts. It is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit comfortably outside.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (817) 459-6900 or by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.
Thank you to the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library for their generous support of our programming.
