Stealing the Spotlight: 150 Years of Arlington

Theatre Arlington sponsored by the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation brings you Stealing the Spotlight: 150 Years of Arlington, an original cabaret featuring stories, anecdotes, and music from 150 years of Arlington historical notables! Showcasing local talent and bringing some of Arlington’s scene stealers to life, this cabaret will transport you through Arlington’s rich history as we celebrate 150 with a Sesqui-Cabaret! Theatre BARlington and the lobby will open at 5:30 p.m. with the cabaret to perform at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with an approximate 30-minute run time.

Before each performance of “Stealing the Spotlight,” the Arlington Master Chorale will take the cabaret stage at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. for a special preview of its upcoming concert, “Treasures of the Heart,” taking place Oct. 16–17, 2026. The concert will feature a commissioned work by local composer Laura Farnell, created in commemoration of Arlington’s 150th anniversary.
