The Subrecipient Training for Grants Administration for PY2025 will build on key concepts from previous training sessions while incorporating updates to federal, state, and local regulations. Key lessons from past sessions, such as effective communication with pass-through entities and ensuring timely financial and performance reporting, will be revisited to reinforce best practices. Additionally, lessons learned from previous audits and monitoring reviews will be integrated to address common pitfalls and emerging compliance challenges, such as proper documentation of time and effort, documenting allowable costs, and addressing indirect cost rate issues.
