May 2025 Student-Athlete of the Month: Cameron Helbing

Cameron “Cami” Helbing, a junior on Arlington High School’s flag football team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for May 2025.

Helbing is a multi-sport athlete at Arlington High, competing in volleyball, basketball softball, and flag football.  

“Cami is definitely, the heart of the team,” said Brooke Kolanek, Arlington High School Head Flag Football Coach. “Every time she's out there, the team is cheering her on. You can always see them gravitate towards her. They always want to be by her.”

After high school, Helbing plans on attending the Tarrant County College to major in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
