By Arlington Police Department
The Arlington Police Department has made three arrests in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred on March 6, 2024 at an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Hollandale Circle.
Following a thorough investigation, homicide detectives obtained warrants for the arrests of 22-year-old Trevon Stewart, 23-year-old Jalen Lawrence, and 22-year-old Breanna Tarrant on Aggravated Robbery charges. All three suspects were taken into custody.
Based on their investigation, detectives believe Mr. Stewart, Mr. Lawrence, Ms. Tarrant, and 22-year-old Rameses Forward plotted together to rob an individual at the apartment complex. The night of the shooting, Mr. Stewart and Mr. Forward drove to the complex to carry out their plan. Their intended target was armed – and during the robbery attempt, Mr. Forward was shot and killed. It appears Mr. Forward was armed at the time as well.
In consultation with the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office, detectives determined the suspected shooter acted in self-defense and will not be charged in connection to this incident.
