AISD Seeking

The Arlington ISD is accepting applications for positions on the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.

The committee is established to provide transparency and enhance public confidence in the use of proceeds from the sale of bonds authorized by Arlington ISD voters on May 10, 2014. The purpose of the Committee is to provide findings and recommendations to the Board of Trustees relating to the expenditure of bond proceeds authorized in the 2014 Bond election, the progress of the 2014 Bond program, and ways the District can maximize the potential of the 2014 Bond program.

The committee is comprised of a maximum of 11 members appointed by the Board to serve two-year staggered terms. Terms may be extended for additional one or two year terms upon approval by the board.

Applications for CBOC membership must be received online by 4 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016. The board is expected to approve new committee members during their board meeting scheduled for September 15, 2016.
