After Dark in the Park

River Legacy Foundation ' s 20th annual After Dark in the Park is scheduled for Oct. 7-9, 2016.

Volunteers are being sought for two upcoming River Legacy events in Arlington.

Volunteers are needed for setup, breakdown, festival hospitality and facilitation of family friendly games, activities and crafts at the 20th Annual After Dark in the Park. The annual fall festival, scheduled for Oct. 7-9, combines the best of the Living Science Center ' s education programs with a mix of entertainment and festival fare.

Volunteer opportunities are also available Sept. 9-10 for the W.A.T.E.R. Festival (Water Awareness through Education Recreation). This educational festival encourages water conservation by offering families the opportunity to explore a variety of water-related topics in a fun and creative way, including water color painting, story time, pond water monitoring and invertebrate investigations.
