PBR Iron Cowboy Major & RFD-TV's "The American" Rodeo

For the third consecutive year, bull riding and rodeo fans will be treated to the best Western sports stars in the world when the PBR Iron Cowboy and THE AMERICAN return to AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 27-28. RFD-TV's THE AMERICAN, presented by Polaris RANGER on Feb. 28, 2016, will be televised live and offer a cash-and-prize purse of more than $2.5 million. Experience Arlington Cinema 2016

Experience Arlington Cinema returns on Saturday, February 27th featuring two short film showcases, filmmaking workshops, and a special tribute to legendary Arlington filmmaker Andy Anderson! This entertaining day of film will start with a diverse collection of short films from award-winning filmmakers from around the world. The event will also shine a spotlight on exciting films created by Arlington high school students and college filmmakers. There's something for everybody, filmmakers and film lovers alike at this all day event beginning at noon in the Fine Arts Building at UT Arlington, 502 S. Cooper St. Room #148. Arlington Music Hall Presents Mark Chesnutt

Country music fans can check out Mark Chesnutt this Saturday night, February 27, 2016 in Downtown at Arlington Music Hall! Carrying the torch in the footsteps of George Jones and Waylon Jennings, Chesnutt plays nearly 100 dates a year. He has four platinum albums, five gold albums, 14 No. 1 singles and 23 Top 10 singles to his name; his trademarked voice has shaped the music of today's country music newcomers and the new country music generation. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. There are still some tickets available online at Arlington Music Hall's website.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella at Theatre Arlington

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale comes to life in this new adaptation of the Tony Award®-winning musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music. This youth musical of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella opened at Theatre Arlington in Downtown on Friday, February 19, 2016. The show runs until March 6, 2016, with special performances March 22nd & 23rd at UT Arlington's Texas Hall (click here for more info). Performances at Theatre Arlington: Fridays at 7:30 pm; Saturdays at 2 pm & 7:30 pm; Sundays at 2 pm.

Astronaut at UTA Planetarium

See what it takes to become an Astronaut and the effect space has on the human body this Sunday, February 28 at UTA Planetarium! Narrated by Ewan McGregor, experience a rocket launch from inside the body of an astronaut, explore the amazing worlds of inner and outer space, and discover the perils that lurk in space.
