"Ask Arlington" is a show dedicated to answering the questions you have about what's happening in our city.

Each week, on the City's social media pages, we'll let you know what the topic of the "Ask Arlington" episode will be.

All you have to do is post your question and we'll do our best to get it answered during our show.

This week's show features Gilbert Mesa, the Action Center Manager for the City of Arlington, to answer your questions about the one-stop shop for all city-related, non-emergency service and information requests.

On January 9, 2016, the Action Center expanded hours to Saturdays, where staff will take resident calls from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The city employs 17 full-time operators, four who are bilingual, to take calls and route issues to the correct departments from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday. Staff also takes calls for Animal Services only through 6 p.m. each weekday.

The Action Center can be reached over the phone by calling 817-459-6777. Residents can also submit a request through Twitter via the Action Center's account @ArlActionCenter or with an online service request through the city's website.

The City's Office of Communication develops programming for MyArlingtonTV. Viewers can find MyArlingtonTV programs on the following cable systems: Time Warner Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99, and streaming capabilities at www.arlington-tx.gov.

All episodes are also available on the City's YouTube channel, Facebook page and Twitter account.
