Gigi Erwin, also known as DJ Gurrl

Wear your favorite pajamas and dance your heart out—all in the comfort of your home.DJ GURRL, also known as Gigi Erwin, continues to give back to the Arlington community through daily virtual concerts she hosts through Facebook live.

In addition to working as a disc jockey for weddings, parties and other events, Erwin has proudly hosted Project 215, a monthly dance party in Downtown Arlington that supports charities across The American Dream City. But with events booked for the upcoming months canceled or rescheduled, Erwin has found a way continue bringing the joy of music and dance to people staying safely at home through virtual concerts and dance parties.

“I love to play music for people because it brings me such joy and I want to share that joy with everyone,” Erwin said.

From her home—or her backyard when the weather is nice—Erwin plays different genres of music live on her Facebook page for the whole family to dance along. She even takes special requests.

“I want to make people happy through the gifts I’ve been given and if DJing music from my house to yours is the way to do it, God bless technology!” Erwin said.

DJ Gurrl’s parties are held ‘live’ from 11 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday on Gigi Erwin's Facebook page. She also hosts PaJAMa Parties at 9 p.m. Saturdays with laser lights.
