On Saturday, Nov. 2, a memorial brick will be placed by the Arlington Animal Services Center for Catherine Hubbard, a six year old who lost her life during the Sandy Hook Massacre eleven months ago. The brick, paid for by donations, will be placed in front of the Arlington Animal Services Center . Catherine was an animal lover. In fact, her dream was to open her very own animal shelter. Catherine will be remembered for "her passion of animals and constant smile,"according to an obituary.

Donations can be made at the front desk of the Arlington Animal Services Center starting today. The first 100 people to donate will have their photo taken in a group setting with the brick and a card will be sent to the family of Hubbard.

Chris Huff, Manager of the Arlington Animal Services Center hopes it will be a warm reminder for the family. "We just want to do this for the family and let them know we haven't forgotten about them,"she said.
