1. Interlochen Holiday Lights Display

One of the largest holiday light displays in North Texas continues in Arlington for the 43rd year. Beginning Friday, Dec. 14, the Arlington Police Department will setup traffic control posts from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. to help facilitate safe travel through the annual Interlochen Christmas Lights display. Drivers must enter the Interlochen neighborhood from Randol Mill Road at Westwood Drive. Admission is free. Click here to view the Interlochen Holiday Lights 2018 traffic map.

2. Breakfast with Santa at Cliff Nelson Recreation Center

When: Saturday, Dec. 15 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: Cliff Nelson Recreation Center, 4600 W. Bardin Rd.
What: Join us for a holiday event for the whole family! Santa is stopping by to enjoy breakfast and other holiday fun activities with our guests. Children will enjoy making holiday cards and visiting with someone special, too. 3. Arlington Music Hall's Spectacular Christmas

When: Dec. 15-16
Where: Arlington Music Hall, 224 N Center St.
What: The AMH Spectacular Christmas show returns to the Arlington Music Hall in Downtown. This event showcases sensational singers, dynamic dancers, charming children, a kick-line of lovely young ladies, colorful costumes, sparkling special effects and tops it off with a visit from Santa himself! 4. Texas Christkindl Market at The Plaza

Arlington's beloved Texas Christkindl Market returns for its eighth season this weekend! From now through Dec. 23, The Plaza at Texas Live! will transform into a unique holiday shopping experience. Modeled after Arlington's sister Christmas city, Rothenberg ob der Tauber, this cozy version of an Arlington favorite will offer beautiful holiday decorations and handmade gifts for everyone on your Christmas list. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, admission is free, with holiday treats and gift items available for purchase. 5. Enchant Christmas at Globe Life Park

Back by popular demand, Enchant Christmas will once again illuminate North Texas skies with its World's Largest Christmas Light Maze & Market. Last year, more than 250,000 people unwrapped a new holiday tradition at the most scenic wonderland in Texas. This year, the family tradition will move inside Globe Life Park in The American Dream City, with a new heart-warming theme, an updated adventure in the light maze, and a larger, dazzling Artisans' Market. 6. Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas

Six Flags Over Texas' brightest holiday celebration is now under way in The American Dream City! At this exclusive seasonal event, you'll find everything you need to celebrate the most wonderful time of year. Holiday in the Park is available on select dates now through Dec. 31. Here are seven incredible features at this year's event. The park will be open from 5-10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, and 2-10 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16.

7. Santa's Toy Factory at The Parks at Arlington Mall

Enjoy a holiday classic on the stage of Theatre Arlington in Downtown this weekend! Miracle on 34th Streetruns through Sunday, December, 16, 2018 and is based on the Twentieth Century Fox motion picture. The show is appropriate for ages 6 and up.

9. Live Music at Texas Live!

Check out live music this weekend at Texas Live!, the new $250 million world-class dining, entertainment and hospitality district located near the Rangers' Globe Life Park and Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in The American Dream City. Arlington Backyard, a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion, is expected to host more than 250 events annually. Several bands will perform throughout the weekend at multiple venues. Braveheart Animal Rescue's Santa Paws will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 15 at the Texas Live! Beer Garden. The Cowboys Game Day Watch Party starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday, December 16. 10. Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium continues to offer shows to residents and visitors. This includes Spacepark 360: Infinity, a planetarium show designed to recreate the experience of amusement park thrill rides, roller coasters, pendulums, inverters and more.
