The holiday season has officially arrived in The American Dream City.

An approximately 57-foot blue spruce Christmas tree made its way from Michigan to City Hall Monday morning, November 21, 2016.

In keeping with tradition, the official lighting ceremony will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 immediately after the Arlington Holiday Lights Parade.

Mayor Jeff Williams has flip-the-switch honors, along with Santa Claus. This year's parade will begin at 6 p.m., with entertainment in various parts of downtown, starting at 2 p.m.

More information about the parade, and a complete list of sponsors, can be found at www.holidaylightsparade.com.
