Last week's winter weather created significant problems throughout North Texas and forced the cancellation or postponement of many events.

Some of the events have been rescheduled, while others have not. Here is a list of the ones we have been notified about:

Arlington Christkindl Market

The Christkindl Market will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Enjoy authentic German holiday products, food, music, live entertainment and family activities, as the Arlington Christkindl market reopens Tuesday at noon. Visitwww.arlingtonchristkindl.com for a full schedule of entertainment and events. Parking and admission are free.

Market Hours

Tuesdays-Thursdays and Sundays: Noon - 9:00 p.m.

Fridays: Noon - 10 p.m.

Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Christmas Tree Lighting at City Hall

The annual Christmas Tree lighting at City Hall will be held Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 5:30 p.m. The Holiday Lights Parade, originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, will not happen in 2013.

Arlington Golf Holiday Open House

Save 5-50 percent at any of the Arlington Golf Open Houses at Tierra Verde Golf Club on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. There will light hors d'oeuvres from Ventana Grille and live music. Make plans to attend one of the open houses below and get your holiday shopping done early!

Don Zetnick Arlington Winter Run

The 36th Annual Don Zetnick Arlington Winter Run, to be held at the Maverick Activity Center on the campus of UT Arlington, will now take place on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 8:30 a.m.

Knapp Heritage Park's Christmas at the Cabins

Event organizers have rescheduled the Christmas at the Cabins event for Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Knapp Heritage Park, 201 W. Front Street.

"A Tune Christmas" at Theatre Arlington

Two shows postponed last week due to the icy weather conditions have been rescheduled. The shows will be Wednesday, Dec. 11 & 18 at 8:00 p.m. Visit www.theatrearlington.org for more information.

Arlington Museum of Art

The museum will reopen Tuesday, Dec. 10 for normal hours, 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
