I-30 Closed This Weekend Through Part of Arlington

I-30 Detour Map

TxDOT is alerting drivers to a major closure on Interstate 30. Both directions of the interstate will be closed from FM 157/Collins Street to SH 161/President George Bush Turnpike. The closure begins Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at 7 p.m. and runs through Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at 7 a.m. Drivers will be detoured south to SH 180/Division Street/Main Street. I-30 Mainlanes and Ramps

I-30 Eastbound and Westbound Mainlanes

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m.-Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: I-30 eastbound and westbound mainlanes will be closed between FM 157/Collins Street and SH 161/President George Bush Turnpike for bridge removal at SH 360. Traffic will be detoured to SH 180/Division Street/Main Street from either FM 157/Collins Street or SH 161/President George Bush Turnpike. EXPECT SIGNIFICANT DELAYS ALONG THE DETOUR ROUTE. SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES.

I-30 Eastbound Mainlanes

  • Daily Nov. 2-6, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: The left, inside lane of I-30 eastbound mainlanes between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive will be closed for bridge construction.
  • Overnight, Nov. 5, 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.: I-30 eastbound mainlanes will be reduced to one lane between AT&T Way and Six Flags Drive for bridge removal at SH 360. EXPECT DELAYS.

I-30 Westbound Mainlanes

  • Daily Nov. 2-6, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: The left, inside lane of I-30 westbound mainlanes will be closed from Six Flags Drive to Ballpark Way for bridge construction.
  • Through summer 2020: The right, outside auxiliary lane between Great Southwest Parkway to 0.2 miles east of Six Flags Drive exit ramp is closed for construction of new westbound exit ramp to Six Flags Drive. 

I-30 Eastbound Exit to SH 360 Southbound

  • Continuously Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: The I-30 eastbound exit to SH 360 southbound will be closed in coordination with the I-30 closure.

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Cooper Street

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 eastbound entrance from Cooper Street will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route from FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Cooper Street

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 eastbound entrance from FM 157/Collins Street will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route from FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from FM 157/Collins Street

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m.-Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 eastbound entrance from FM 157/Collins Street will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route from FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Copeland Road/Nolan Ryan Expressway

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m.-Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 eastbound entrance from Copeland Road/Nolan Ryan Expressway will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route from FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Copeland Road

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 eastbound entrance from Copeland Road will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route from FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Westbound Exit to SH 360/Six Flags Drive

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 westbound exit to SH 360/Six Flags Drive will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route along SH 180/Division Street and FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Westbound Entrance from SH 360/Six Flags Drive

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 westbound entrance from SH 360/Six Flags Drive will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route along SH 180/Division Street and FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Westbound Entrance from President George Bush Turnpike and SH 360

  • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, the I-30 westbound entrances from President George Bush Turnpike and SH 161 will be closed to traffic. Traffic should follow the signed detour route along SH 180/Division Street and FM 157/Collins Street

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection 

  • PERMANENT: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp available from the Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road intersection will be closed permanently. Traffic will continue to have access to the ramp to northbound Ballpark Way.

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Northbound Ballpark Way

  • PERMANENT: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp from northbound Ballpark Way will be closed permanently for the construction of a new northbound Ballpark Way connector to eastbound Copeland Road

I-30 HOV Lanes (between Great Southwest Parkway and Cooper Street)

Westbound I-30 HOV lane west of SH 161

  • Through 2021, The westbound HOV lane west of SH 161 will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will be directed into the I-30 westbound general main lanes west of SH 161.

Eastbound I-30 HOV lane between Center Street and Duncan Perry Road

  • Through 2021, The eastbound HOV lane access near Center Street and lane through Tarrant County will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will enter at SH 161.

SH 360 Mainlanes and Ramps

SH 360 Southbound Mainlanes

  • Continuously through Fall 2021: SH 360 southbound mainlanes will be reduced to two lanes between Avenue J and Six Flags Drive for SH 360 northbound mainline and frontage road construction. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Nightly through Nov. 24, 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.: Various lanes will be closed on SH 360 southbound mainlanes between Division Street and Kingswood Boulevard for general construction

SH 360 Northbound Mainlanes

  • Beginning Nov. 1: SH 360 northbound mainlanes will be temporarily shifted between Six Flags Drive and Avenue J onto the new SH 360 southbound mainline bridge. Click here to learn more.
  • Nightly through Nov. 24, 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.: Various lanes will be closed on SH 360 northbound mainlanes between Kingswood Boulevard and Division Street for general construction.

SH 360 Southbound Exit to I-30 Westbound

  • This direct connector ramp is now in service.

SH 360 Southbound Entrance from Brown Boulevard/Avenue K

  • PERMANENT: The SH 360 southbound entrance from Brown Boulevard/Avenue K is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Traffic is detoured along the SH 360 southbound frontage road to enter from the Six Flags Drive entrance ramp. A new entrance ramp will be constructed between Lamar Boulevard and Six Flags Drive.

SH 360 Southbound Exit to Lamar Boulevard

  • PERMANENT: The SH 360 southbound exit to Lamar Boulevard is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Traffic is detoured to exit to Brown Boulevard/Avenue K and follow the SH 360 southbound frontage road to Lamar Boulevard. A new exit ramp will be constructed to Avenue J/Lamar Boulevard/Six Flags Drive.

SH 360 Southbound Entrance from Lamar Boulevard 

  • PERMANENT: The SH 360 southbound entrance from Lamar Boulevard is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Traffic is detoured along the SH 360 southbound frontage road to enter from the Six Flags Drive entrance ramp. A new entrance ramp will be constructed between Lamar Boulevard and Six Flags Drive.

SH 360 Northbound Exit to Lamar Boulevard

  • Beginning Nov. 1: The SH 360 northbound exit to Lamar Boulevard will be closed for reconstruction. Traffic will be directed to exit Six Flags Drive and continue on the northbound frontage road to Lamar Boulevard

SH 360 Southbound Entrance from Arkansas Lane

  • Daily, through Nov. 14, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: The SH 360 southbound entrance from Arkansas Lane will be closed for sound wall and traffic barrier construction. Traffic will be directed to the next entrance ramp from Mayfield Road

SH 360 Northbound Entrance from Park Row Drive

  • Overnight, Nov. 2, 7 p.m.-6 a.m.: The SH 360 northbound entrance from Park Row Drive will be closed for overhead sign construction. Traffic will be directed to the next entrance ramp from Division Street

SH 360 Northbound Entrance from SP 303

  • Continuously through Nov. 14, 6 a.m.: The SH 360 northbound entrance from SP 303 will be closed for general construction. Traffic will be directed to the next entrance ramp from Park Row Drive

SH 360 Northbound Exit to SP 303/Park Row Drive

  • Continuously through Nov. 3, 6 a.m.: The SH 360 northbound exit to SP 303/Park Row Drive will be closed for overhead sign construction. Traffic will be directed to exit Mayfield Road and continue on the northbound frontage road to SP 303 and Park Row Drive

SH 360 Northbound Exit to Arkansas Lane

  • Overnight, Nov. 3, 7 p.m.-6 a.m.: The SH 360 northbound exit to Arkansas Lane will be closed for overhead sign construction. Traffic will be directed to exit Mayfield Road and continue on the northbound frontage road to Arkansas Lane

    SH 360 South-to-North U-turn at Lamar Boulevard

    • The SH 360 south-to-north U-turn at Lamar Boulevard will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.

    SH 360 South-to-North U-turn at Six Flags Drive

    • The SH 360 south-to-north U-turn at Six Flags Drive will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.

    SH 360 South-to-North U-Turn at Abram Street

    • Continuously through Nov. 30: The SH 360 south-to-north U-turn at Abram Street will be closed for SH 360 bridge work.

    SH 360 Northbound Frontage Road

    Randol Mill Road to Avenue E

    • Continuous through Dec. 15: The SH 360 northbound frontage road between Randol Mill Road and Avenue E will be reduced to one lane for underground utility work.

    SH 360 North-to-South U-Turn at Park Row Drive

    • Daily, Nov 2-4, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Park Row Drive will be closed for electrical work.

    SH 360 North-to-South U-Turn at Abram Street

    • Continuously through Nov. 30: The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Abram Street will be closed for SH 360 bridgework.

    SH 360 North-to-South U-turn at Six Flags Drive

    • The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Six Flags Drive will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.

    SH 360 North-to-South U-turn at Lamar Boulevard

    • The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Lamar Boulevard will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.

    Local Streets

    Lamar Boulevard/Avenue H

    • Continuously, Nov. 9, 7 p.m. - Nov. 12, 5 a.m.: Lamar Boulevard under SH 360 will be closed for bridge removal. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south to Six Flags Drive, crossing under SH 360 and returning via the SH 360 northbound frontage road to Lamar Boulevard. Westbound traffic will be detoured north to Avenue J, crossing over SH 360 and returning via the SH 360 southbound frontage road.

    Avenue F

    • Through fall 2020, eastbound and westbound Avenue F traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction and shifted to the south side of Avenue F for the reconstruction of Avenue F.

    Copeland Road

    • Continuously, Nov. 6, 7 p.m. - Nov. 8, 7 a.m.: In coordination with the I-30 full closure, Copeland Road east of Convention Center Drive will be restricted to local traffic only.
    • PERMANENT: Copeland Road between Six Flags Drive and the SH 360 southbound frontage is closed.
    • PERMANENT: Westbound Copeland Road from Six Flags Drive to just east of Ballpark Way is permanently closed. Only eastbound Copeland Road traffic will be allowed between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive.

    Six Flags Drive

    • Continuously through Nov. 4, 5 a.m.: Six Flags Drive under SH 360 will be closed for bridge removal. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south to Randol Mill Road, crossing under SH 360 and returning via the SH 360 northbound frontage road to Six Flags Drive. Westbound traffic will be detoured north to Lamar Boulevard, crossing under SH 360 and returning via the SH 360 southbound frontage road.

    Six Flags Drive

    • Continuously through Nov. 4, 5 a.m.: Six Flags Drive under SH 360 will be closed for bridge removal. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south to Randol Mill Road, crossing under SH 360 and returning via the SH 360 northbound frontage road to Six Flags Drive. Westbound traffic will be detoured north to Lamar Boulevard, crossing under SH 360 and returning via the SH 360 southbound frontage road.

    Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection 

    • PERMANENT: The I-30 eastbound entrance ramp available from this intersection was removed permanently from service. Access to northbound Ballpark Way is maintained.

    105th Street

    • PERMANENT: 105th Street between Six Flags Drive and Avenue E is permanently closed and will be removed.
