The City of Arlington's Code Compliance Services Division is proud to announce our September 2016 Property of the Month award winners:

  • 709 Bowie Street
  • 1300 W. Abram Street
  • 1703 N. Peyco Drive
  • 8006 Summerleaf Drive
  • 2200 S.E. Green Oaks Boulevard
  • 7407 Lake Whitney Drive
  • 2912 Little Road
  • 5802 Wester Way
  • 815 Senior Creek Drive
  • 940 Meadow Oaks Drive

The program, which launched last year, recognizes residential, multi-family and commercial properties that exemplify residents and owners who have gone above and beyond to make Arlington a better place to live, work and play. The goal of the program is to help foster healthy and attractive neighborhoods in an effort to showcase the beauty of America's Dream City.

In May, July, September and November of this year, members of the Property of the Month Selection Committee select one single-family residential and one multi-family/commercial property from each of the five City Council District to be recognized.

The 10 winners are chosen based on the following criteria:

The property has no visible code violations, nor a history of chronic code violations and the property is one of the most aesthetically pleasing in the area.

Do you know a yard that is the envy of the neighborhood? Nominations are now being accepted for the City of Arlington's Property of the Month Program.

Nominations, which can be emailed to [email protected], must include the address of the property, a photo and a statement about why the property deserves the awards. Those who make a nomination must include their name and telephone number in the email.

The Property of the Month Program, sponsored by Code Compliance Services, ties in with the Arlington City Council's priority to Champion Great Neighborhoods.

Last year, the program ran monthly from April to October.
