Grab your rod and reel and join Arlington Parks and Recreation for a Family Fishing Adventure on Saturday, October 27 from 9 am to 12 pm at Cliff Nelson Recreation Center, 4600 W Bardin Road. This Naturally Fun Neighborhoods event will offer free family activities, music, food and fun!

"Our fishing adventures are always a big hit for both young and old,' said Gary Packan, Arlington Parks and Recreation Assistant Director. "Typically we have about 150 to 200 folks come out to fish and enjoy the day,' he said.

The Fishing Librarian, Arlington Public Libraries' Marc Marchand, aka The Fishing Librarian, will be on hand throughout the adventure to share his passion for fishing. Be sure to ask him for tips on how to make that big catch and reel in your prize!
