This week the Arlington Police Department will host another live Twitter event.

On Friday, February 10, 2012, from 6:30 - 10:00 p.m., the Department is going to have a "Street Tweet" on Twitter to focus on what it takes to be a Citizens on Patrol Mobile member for the Police Department.

The "Street Tweet" will begin at the South District Police Station, where the Citizens On Patrol Mobile members will meet with South District Deputy Chief Jeff Petty. Chief Petty will give them their street assignments for that evening.

Using the Twitter account, @ArlingtonPD, you can follow the C.O.P. Mobile volunteers on their nightly activities and stay posted on what they are experiencing. This will give you an exclusive look on a night out with C.O.P. Mobile.

Follow #APDstreet to check it out.

If Facebook is more to your liking, you can follow "Street Tweet" on Facebook by clicking on the "Twitter" icon on the left side of the Arlington Police Department page.
