Veterans Day – Honoring All Who Served

Tarrant County College's Southeast Campus will honor local veterans of U.S. Armed Forces during a special Veterans Day event. The program will feature Lt. Col. Charles Kelly and Arlington ISD students presenting the colors, followed by Mayor Robert Cluck offering a Veterans Day proclamation to Southeast Campus President Bill Coppola. TCC-SE veterans are expected to walk across the stage and state their name, branch and time served. For more information, call 817-515-3595 or visit tccd.edu.

The Arlington Great Southwest Rotary Club will present a very special observance honoring the duty, sacrifice and service of U.S. veterans of all wars at 11 a.m. at Veterans Park located, 3600 West Arkansas Lane. The program will open with music performed by Tarrant County Criminal Court Judge Brent Carr, accompanied by the Cowtown Music Club. Lt. Col. Michael Menefee, USMCR (Ret.), a former intelligence officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency at the Pentagon, will deliver the keynote address. A complimentary luncheon will be served immediately following the ceremony at the park pavilion. Luncheon will be limited to the first 250 respondents.
