Almost two years after a restroom fire at Randol Mill Park destroyed those facilities and equipment for the DFW Miracle League, work is underway to rebuild. The fire happened early one morning in November of 2010 and the restroom facility burned to the ground.

The community rallied around and stepped forward with donations of equipment and resources to the Miracle League. The DFW Miracle League is home to 620 youth that call Randol Mill Park home for baseball activities.

The new facility should be completed by early 2013 and will provide restrooms, concessions and storage for the Miracle League and the other baseball fields located in the southern portion of Randol Mill Park.

Funding for the project is coming from insurance, gas lease funding and a grant provided by EcoMedia. The new building follows the sustainable design principles of building design and is planned to cost $800,000.
