Join Mayor Williams

Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams and members of City Council will be ringing the red bell Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Walmart on Randol Mill for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Challenge.

Mayor Williams will be ringing the bell from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the Rangers Captain, Theatre Arlington and other special guests will also be on hand to help raise money for a great cause this weekend.

Last year, the American Dream City raised $17,555.67, which is 32% higher than Arlington's previous record.

Overall, the mayors of Arlington, Mansfield and Pantego helped the challenge raise a record $64,127.45 in 2015.

The challenge started in 2009 and allows mayors from Arlington, Mansfield, Dalworthington Gardens, Pantego, and Kennedale to compete in raising funds for the Salvation Army.
