Enchant Christmas

The American Dream City is about to get a whole lot brighter with the U.S. debut of Enchant Christmas. Get lost in the world's largest light maze. Take photos around the largest Christmas tree in North Texas. In collaboration with the Texas Rangers and Arlington Convention - Visitors Bureau, Enchant Christmas illuminates the Texas skies November 24 through December 31, 2017. Hours of operation are 5:00pm-11:00pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Enchant will be closed December 24 and Mondays with the exception of December 18 and 25. Enchant will play in Lot F at Globe Life Park, 1000 Ballpark Way (on the corners of Copeland Road and AT-T Way).

Turkey Day Shotgun Golf Tournament

Registration for the 2017 Turkey Day Shotgun is now open! The 2017 event will take place this Thanksgiving Day, November 23 at the Tierra Verde Golf Club.

  • Kids (17 - under): $39.99/player.

Registration fee includes green fee, 1/2 cart, small range bag, and two breakfast tacos with coffee and juice. This exclusive opportunity will be the only chance to play golf at one of our Arlington Golf courses on Thanksgiving Day. (Lake Arlington Golf Course and Meadowbrook Golf Course will be closed on Thanksgiving and Tierra Verde will close after the completion of the Turkey Day Shotgun.) 8th Annual Arlington Turkey Trot

There's still time to sign-up to participate in the 8th Annual Arlington Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. Registration and the Start - Finish race site are on Road to Six Flags along the entire north side of the Globe Life Park. Mission Arlington Turkey Dinner Deliveries

Ushering in the season of giving, thousands of volunteers will once again come together in Downtown Arlington to help families in need enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. It's an annual effort by Mission Arlington to make the holiday special for families in need. Approximately 6,000 volunteers will gather at Mission Arlington's main office (210 W. South Street) at 8 a.m. Thursday, November 23, 2017, to deliver turkeys, turkey baskets and hot meals to people in need. Chargers vs. Cowboys at AT-T Stadium

The Turkey Day football tradition continues this Thanksgiving, November 23, 2017, with a NFC-AFC showdown between the Los Angeles Chargers (4-6) and your Dallas Cowboys (5-5) at AT-T Stadium in Arlington. The team hopes to bounce back after a tough home loss against the Philadelphia Eagles last week. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised on CBS. Santa's Toy Factory at The Parks at Arlington Mall

Santa and his elves have set up an outpost of their North Pole Factory at The Parks at Arlington and they are requesting your help to test and build some exciting new toys for the holiday. The Parks Mall has partnered with Mattel to offer this all-new attraction now until Christmas Eve. Toy factory visitors can receive a $5 discount if they book a visit between Monday and Wednesday through December 9, 2017. Salvador Dali Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art

Salvador Dali was a painter, designer, sculptor, writer and set designer. He was also a master engraver who could produce equally outstanding work in dry point, etching, woodcut or lithography. This exhibition features Dali's full series of Dante's The Divine Comedy, for which each of the lithographs presented required as many as 35 colors. There are a total of 101 pieces included in this exhibition. Salvador Dali: Visions of Eternity runs until January 21, 2018. For more information, please visit www.arlingtonmuseum.org.

UTA Planetarium continues to offer shows to residents and visitors.
