Texas Rangers Holding Cowboy Santas Toy Drive at Ballpark From Dec. 1-18

The Texas Rangers announced details of the team's participation in the 2017 Cowboy Santas Toy Drive, the seventh consecutive year in which the organization has been involved in the holiday initiative.

The Cowboy Santas Toy Drive results in the collection of thousands of new, unwrapped toys that are distributed to children from low-income families in Tarrant County. Beginning Friday, December 1 and continuing through Monday, December 18, new and unwrapped toys or books may be dropped off at the Texas Rangers Grand Slam Gift Shop at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

On Monday, December 18, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., the Rangers will sponsor the Cowboy Santas Toy Drive Finale Event at Globe Life Park in Arlington in the center field Vandergriff Plaza area.Rangers personalities will be on hand to sign autographs for the occasion. Holiday movies will be shown on the video screen, the Rangers KidsZone will be open, and drink and food specials will be provided by Sportservice. Other activities will include face painting, crafts, a photo booth, and a special appearance by Santa Claus. Additionally, complimentary holiday tours of Globe Life Park will be offered every half hour during the event.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys and books for boys and girls, newborn to age 12, will be greatly encouraged at the finale event.

Fans attending the December 18 event may park in Lot B and enter Globe Life Park in Arlington through the Majestic Grand Slam Gift Shop.
