Low-Cost Pet Vaccines and Microchips Available February 18

Does your pet need a microchip, vaccination, or heartworm testing?

The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) will be at the Hugh Smith Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, February 18 to provide low-cost vaccinations and services for pets.

Free rabies vaccinations, made possible by Best Friends Animal Society, will be available for the first 50 pets from ZIP Code 76010.

Residents can also license their pet at the event. All pets must be in a carrier or on a leash. Cash or credit cards will be accepted.

The Hugh Smith Recreation Center is located at 1815 New York Avenue.

Because of ongoing construction, drivers should take New York Avenue north from Pioneer Parkway to get to the Hugh Smith Recreation Center.
