Greetings from The American Dream City! Be sure to tune into the fourth installment of UTA Spotlight, a weekly news update on events and happenings around Arlington.

Among this week's top stories:

  • Various organizations hold events on-campus to celebrate Black History Month. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority hosted a sickle cell forum, while the Library held a "Hidden Histories" exhibit.
  • Valentine's Day was just another day for single students, who used the holiday to study and buy low-priced candy.
  • The UTA Mavs men's basketball team is on a winning streak. Players reflect on how Head Coach Scott Cross' tough coaching and "never take the stairs" attitude have led the team to success.

Segments run every week during the semester on Arlington's cable channel, Time Warner Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.
