Examples of Nuisance Vehicle Violations with Corrections
Parking a nuisance vehicle in public view is a violation of City Ordinance.
The definition of a “nuisance vehicle” is as follows:
Any vehicle, including an all-terrain vehicle, boat, or personal watercraft, that:

is self-propelled and
-
is:
- wrecked, dismantled or partially dismantled, or discarded, or unattended on jack stands or blocks or other means, or
- in a condition with two or more flat tires for 14 days or more, or is missing two or more wheels for 14 days or more, or
- used primarily for storage and remains unmoved for 14 days or more, or
- a habitat for rats, mice or snakes, or
- substantially disfigured, damaged, or disintegrated, or
- ruined, destroyed or demolished; or
- inoperable and has remained inoperable for more than:
- seventy-two (72) consecutive hours, if the vehicle is on public property;
- thirty (30) consecutive days if the vehicle is on private property.
