Arlington provides an excelling pre-K to college educational system and has become a pipeline of tomorrow’s thought leaders in business, industry and education.

More than a remarkable education: The Arlington Independent School District is a premier school district and a leader in education. The school district includes 10 high schools, 11 junior high schools and 55 elementary schools that serve the majority of Arlington students. There are also a variety of private schools and charter schools within the city.

Getting a top-notch college education today doesn’t have to mean leaving the state, region or city limits. The University of Texas at Arlington is committed to the promotion of lifelong learning through its academic and continuing education programs. UT-Arlington’s 33,000 + students pursue more than 300 degrees in an extensive range of disciplines.

UT Arlington is the second biggest institution in the University of Texas system only trailing the main campus in Austin. Recognized internationally as an R&D powerhouse, UT Arlington is a leader in the region and state with education, research, and training and is one of the most diverse colleges in the country.

Arlington is also home to Tarrant County College (TCC) Southeast Campus, a comprehensive two-year institution dedicated to providing affordable quality education, serving thousands of students through many academic and workforce development programs.
