Did a stranger lend a helping hand when you were stranded on the side of the road or surprised you by paying for your coffee or dinner? We want to hear about it!

Mayor Williams challenged Arlington to document 400,000 acts of kindness in 2018. That’s about one documented act for each person who lives in our great city! Acts of kindness are expressions or actions given from one to another that make a positive impact on each other. It ranges from offering a helping hand that stretches beyond, to common daily courtesies. We want to capture all of those acts of kindness and inspire more and more people to do the same. Kindness is worth recognizing, and sharing your experiences will help others pursue opportunities to be kind, too! Here is how YOU can help Arlington reach our goal of 400,000 acts of kindness:

  1. Purchase the “Kind Zone” signs and display it at your business site or in your neighborhood.
  2. Report an act of kindness: online, via the app or by emailing [email protected].
  3. Encourage your friends and family to report their acts of kindness.
