1. Texas Live! Birthday Bash

Stop by Texas Live!, in Arlington's Entertainment District, Friday to celebrate the venue's first birthday. There will be cake, a toast, live music and different events at each bar and restaurant. 

2. All-Star Craft Beer, Wine and Cocktail Festival

Globe Life Park will play host to a night of drinks Saturday. There will be 250 options to sample plus yard games and live entertainment. Tickets start at $50 and include two tickets to a Rangers game. Designated drivers get in for $20 and also receive the Rangers tickets.

3. Arlington ISD Back-to-School Kick Off

If you registered for Arlington ISD's Back-to-School Kick Off, make sure to stop by AT&T Stadium Saturday morning. This is your one-stop-shop for everything from free school supplies to haircuts and checkups. 

4. Tax-Free Weekend

If you still need a few school supplies or new clothes, this is the weekend to shop. Most items will be available tax free Friday through Sunday. And remember to shop local! 

5. Burnt Ends & Beer

Can you think of a better combination? Legal Draft Beer Co., in Downtown's Urban Union, is hosting a Burnt Ends & Beer pairing Sunday. You'll experience the brewery's craft beers plus food from Hurtado Barbecue. Click the link above to purchase tickets. 

6. Cowboys Watch Party at Texas Live!

It's the moment football fans have been waiting for. The Boys are back. The team is on the road this first week of preseason play. But Texas Live! is going all out to make you feel like you're there. Watch the game on the 100-foot screen. The first 50 fans to arrive will receive a special gift. Kickoff is at 8 p.m.

7. Kidd's Kids Event

Take your family to Texas Live! Sunday for an afternoon of fun and games, all for a great cause. There will be bounce houses, a petting zoo, superheroes, princesses and more. The event is free and open to all ages. Any donations will benefit Kidd's Kids, a nonprofit helping children with life-threatening conditions. 

8. Puppy Pool Paw-ty

Let your dog enjoy the dog days of summer. Arlington's Cooper Street YMCA is hosting a pool paw-ty Friday. Small, medium and large dogs will swim together, so make sure to check the schedule. Registration is $10 per dog and money raised benefits the YMCA's annual support campaign. 

9. Cowboys Art Tour

AT&T Stadium is a true work of art, and that incredible sense of style continues inside. Saturday, stop by to see the murals, sculptures and other pieces created just for the stadium. Tickets are $25. 

10. Sister to Sister Yoga & Self Care Workshop

This is your chance to recline, recharge and reinvest in yourself. The Sister to Sister Yoga & Self Care Workshop is Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at Everdance Studio (5930 W. Interstate 20, Suite 250.) Follow the link above for registration information.
