1. Paul McCartney at Globe Life Park

It's a British invasion. Music superstar Paul McCartney is making his first-ever stop at Globe Life Park Friday night. A few tickets are still available, starting at $30. 

2. ArlingCon

Find your inner superhero at ArlingCon. The pop culture festival features workshops and panels for superhero fans. You'll also meet the authors behind hit novels and comics. And of course there will be a costume contest. The event is free and runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the E.H. Hereford University Center at UT Arlington. 

3. Father's Day Car Show 

Take dad to enjoy some one-of-a-kind cars this Father's Day. "Texas Live!" is hosting a free car show, starting at noon Sunday. There will also be prizes and games geared toward dad.

4. Arlington Dragon Boat Festival  

Saturday is your chance to experience Arlington's first Dragon Boat Race. The YMCA and US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce are hosting a day of races at Viridian Lake Club. Spectators are welcome. There will also be cultural activities for the family, including folk dancing, calligraphy and painting booths. The races run from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. 

5. Food Truck Friday

Enjoy the cooler weather with dinner outside. Food trucks will be at River Legacy Parks Friday night, offering a variety of options. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket since seating is limited. You're also welcome to bring coolers, but please leave glass bottles at home. The trucks will be serving food from 5:30 until 10 p.m. 

6. Theatre Arlington Painting Party

Theatre Arlington's scenic artist is sharing her talents. Angie Glover will take you step-by-step through a featured painting, helping you master the technique. The class is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Registration is $30 per person. 

7. Goat Yoga at Tipsy Oak

Find your zen — with a little help. Tipsy Oak, in Downtown's Urban Union, is hosting goat yoga Saturday morning. Class begins at 9 o'clock. Registration is $25. 

8. Tiny Tots Triathlon

Show your child just how fun a healthy lifestyle can be. Children from 2-10 years old are invited to the "Tiny Tots Triathlon" Saturday. Participants will bike 1/4 mile, run 200 yards and water-slide their way to the finish line. Registration ends Thursday. 

9. Blacklight Party at Free Play Arlington

Free Play Arlington is celebrating its second anniversary Friday with a blacklight bash. Get ready to see the building come to life when the lights go off. The party starts at 7 p.m. 

10. Tiki Week at 4 Kahunas

4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge, in Downtown's Urban Union, is the place to be Friday. The bar is celebrating Tiki Week with a DJ, Hula contest and special prizes. Throw on a floral print and join the party.
