How far can a cardboard boat take you? See for yourself Saturday at River Legacy’s 30th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. Crews will battle the wave pool at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. You can build your own boat or just watch from the shore. All proceeds benefit River Legacy Foundation and River Legacy Living Science Center. The races run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Easter Bunny is coming to town a few days early. Hugh Smith Recreation Center and Indoor Pool is hosting the “Egg-Cellent Easter Party” Saturday at 9 a.m. There will be games, activities, an egg hunt and a visit from the Bunny himself. Children ages 1-9 are welcome. Registration is $6.
Eating local has never been easier. The Downtown Foodies Farmers Market is open Saturday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. You’ll find fresh produce but tips on how to make your own garden grow. Kids will also have the chance to decorate their own flower pot.
The Rangers are back in town. The team will host the A’s this weekend at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Friday night’s game wraps up with a fireworks show. Fans at Saturday’s game receive a throwback Arlington Stadium t-shirt. And Sunday is $1 Blue Bell ice cream day.
It’s three years of cheers and beers at Legal Draft. The brewery’s taproom Downtown will mark the occasion Saturday with live music, giveaways and a fundraiser a local nonprofit. The party starts at noon and runs until 6 p.m.
Celebrate one of Texas’ favorite daughters. Mavericks Bar and Grill will mark Selena’s birthday Friday night. There will be live music, karaoke and a costume contest. There will be a $10 cover. The money benefits Boys & Girls Clubs across Arlington.
Give downward dog a whole new meaning. Arlington Yoga Center is hosting a Pup Yoga class Saturday at the Downtown Arlington Farmers Market. A rescue group will be providing the dogs, so you can leave yours at home. Just bring a mat and some water. Tickets are $25 and include a free beer after class.
Here’s your chance to get on the field at Globe Life Park. You just have to run there. The Rangers are hosting a 5k race Sunday morning. There’s also a 1k course. The runs goes through Arlington’s Entertainment District and ends on the field. You can sign up all the way through race day.

Bring in the season with something truly unique. Timeless Treasures Vintage & More in Downtown Arlington is hosting its "Celebrate Spring" Market Saturday, from noon until 6 p.m. There will be original art, vintage finds and face painting for children.
