Pumpkin Nights at Howell Farms in Arlington

At Pumpkin Nights, you will set out on a Halloween walking path unlike anything you have ever experienced. You will discover 10-foot-tall Jack-o-Lanterns, the world’s largest pumpkin guitar, a flying 40-foot handmade dragon, a life-size pumpkin pirate ship, and more fantastic surprises built by our artists using over 5,000 hand-carved real and synthetic pumpkins. It takes place at Howell Farms, located at 4016 W Division St in Arlington. It runs from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 until Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022. Dottie Parents’ Night Out

A Knight’s Tale comes to the Arlington Museum of Art

Arlington Museum of Art’s newest exhibition is A Knight’s Tale opens Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022. From the renowned collection of the Museo Stibbert in Florence, Italy, stunning examples of European arms and armor will fill our galleries this winter. One hundred and thirty rare objects, including full suits of armor, mounted equestrian figures, helmets, swords, and other weaponry, tell the tale of the European knight from the Middle Ages and Renaissance through the medieval revival of the nineteenth century. The exhibition explores the historical and functional contexts of arms and armor of this period while also highlighting the undeniable craftsmanship, beauty and artistic appeal. Halloween Zumba – BOO-mba!

Join Arlington Parks and Recreation 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at The Beacon Recreation Center for some spook-tacular fun with our Halloween-themed Zumba dance event. Come dressed up and dance with "thrill". Prizes will be given out for best costume. Click here to register

Arlington Art Dealers Association's Fall Gallery Event 

The Arlington Art Dealers Association hosts its Fall Gallery Event 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at the College Town Renaissance Center, located at 1209 W. Abram Street in Arlington and The Upstairs Gallery, located at 1038 W. Abram Street in Arlington. The Arlington Art Dealers Association (AADA) is a federally recognized not-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization.  AADA was formed to promote opportunities among the city's art galleries, schools, and museums.  We are here to create a unified voice of advocacy for the arts (in all its forms). AADA has worked with independent galleries, art organizations, museums, and art supporters in and around the great city of Arlington, Texas. They are committed to developing, fostering, and stimulating a thriving arts community by creating opportunities for local venues to invite residents, visitors, established and emerging artists, and collectors to celebrate and experience the arts.  AADA has successfully revived the tradition of gallery night  with Arlington Arts Night. AADA looks forward to further promoting the arts with plans for extending arts education outreach to students of all ages, as well as by cultivating internship opportunities and scholarship awards for young and emerging artists. Join Arlington Parks and Recreation 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at Cliff Nelson Recreation Center and use your imagination and creativity to bake and decorate an award-winning cupcake! ‘Paw-Maste’ in the Park!

Enjoy a human yoga class for all levels featuring adoptable dogs from Arlington Animal Services 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Oct. 22, 2022 at Tails N' Trails Dog Park adjacent to the Animal Services Center. $10 donation to our heartworm treatment assistance program is required to participate. Help the shelter dogs in need. Cowboys defend homefield against Lions

America’s Team returns to The American Dream City, as your hometown Cowboys host the Detroit Lions 12:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022 at AT&T Stadium. Limited tickets are available at SeatGeek.com.  Running participants poise for a picture in front of race entrance.
