1. Arlington Heroes Run 

Head to Veterans Park Saturday morning for the annual Heroes Run 5k. The run benefits Arlington Police, Fire and veterans. There is also a fun run course. You can register through race day. Click the link above for more information. 

2. UTA Homecoming

Show your Mavericks pride this weekend at UTA's Homecoming parade. The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. Saturday. Come early to see the women's basketball game, then stay to watch the men take on UT Dallas. Click the link above for a full schedule and basketball ticket information. 

3. Insane Inflatable 5K

It's more than just a 5k run — it's an obstacle course. Arlington Parks and Recreation is hosting the Insane Inflatable 5k Saturday morning at Vandergriff Park. Runners will encounter 11 huge inflatable obstacles on the way to the finish link. Click the link above to register.

4. Business Beyond the Battlefield

UT Arlington is hosting Business Beyond the Battlefield this weekend. The conference provides learning and networking opportunities to give veterans better access to development resources that inspire action and create economic value through the military-connected community. The goal is to help veterans live the American dream of business ownership. Click the link above for more information.  

5. Create Studio 

Ready, set, create with Arlington Public Library. The Downtown branch is opening its Create Studio Friday from 4 p.m. until 5:30. Bring the whole family to explore a room of recycled materials and supplies. Choose the materials you want to use, how you want to use them, and make something amazing together.

6. Food Truck Friday Lunch Series

Head Downtown for the final Food Truck Friday of the season. You'll find several delicious options. The trucks will be in place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. outside City Hall. 

7. Cowboys Watch Party at Texas Live!

America's Team is back home and ready for primetime. The Cowboys face the Vikings Sunday night. Watch all the action at Texas Live! on a 100-foot screen. The party starts two hours before kickoff, at 5:30 p.m. 

8. Conservation Saturday

Spend some time with nature while also helping keep Arlington beautiful. River Legacy Living Science Center is hosting a trail clean-up Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Children must be at least 5 years old to attend. Space is limited, so click the link above to RSVP. 

9. "Winnie the Pooh" at Theatre Arlington

This is your final weekend to catch Theatre Arlington's performance of "Winnie the Pooh." This version is a musical featuring all your favorite characters. There are performances Friday night along with Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Click the link above for tickets. 

10. Timeless Concerts presents An Evening of Spanish Zarzuela

Classical ensemble Timeless Concerts will be performing an all-Spanish concert Saturday. The performance is a celebration of Spanish music with humorous melodramatic stories throughout. The performance is at the Arlington Museum of Art Downtown at 8 p.m. Click the link above for tickets.
