Water Bill Assistance

Arlington Water Utilities and Community Action Partners will be holding two events during the next month to help customers apply for payment assistance on current and future water utilities bills.

The first event will be 2-6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16 at the Southeast Branch Arlington Library, 900 SE Green Oaks Blvd.

The second event will be from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, June 10 at the George M. Hawkes Downtown Library, 100 S. Center St.

Arlington customers can fill out paperwork at the events for the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP), a federally funded assistance program for those meeting certain income requirements. Community Action Partners serves customers throughout Tarrant County and administers the LIHWAP program.

Customers attending the May 16 and June 10 events should bring a copy of their water bill, a picture id, proof of legal residency, and proof of income for the past 30 days (2023 award letters, check stubs, or pension letters).
