UTA Spotlight: El Gran Baile Unites Students to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Greetings from The American Dream City! Be sure to tune into the newest installment of UTA Spotlight, a news update featuring broadcasting students reporting on events, projects, announcements and other key news and happenings on the university campus and around Arlington.

This week's stories include:

• La Sociedad Hispánica, a Hispanic Club at UTA held El Gran Baile that drew dozens in attendance to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
• The Texas Rangers hosted UTA Night at Globe Life Field with UTA President Dr. Jennifer Cowley throwing out the Ceremonial First Pitch and perks for UTA students, staff and alumni.   
• What you can expect from the award-winning food options that have gained national attention at this year’s State Fair of Texas.
