Greetings from The American Dream City! Be sure to tune into the newest installment of UTA Spotlight, a weekly news update featuring broadcasting students reporting on events, projects, announcements and other key news and happenings on the university campus and around Arlington.

This week’s stories include:

  • UTA Ambassadors closed out spirit week with a pep rally in the University Center, where students and faculty showcased their spirit.
  • UTA student Michael Francis landed his dream job serving in the Army and plans to go on active duty after graduation.
  • The 39th Annual Bed Races held at Maverick stadium featured students and faculty dancing while dressed in their favorite 90's cartoon costumes.
