Globe Life Field will be the site of more college baseball action on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, when the University of Texas at Arlington plays Texas A&M University at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday will mark the 15th college baseball game played this spring at Globe Life Field. The six-team, nine-game 2021 State Farm College Baseball Showdown took place from Feb. 20-22 followed by five additional contests on three dates, Feb. 23-24 and March 16.

It will be UTA’s third appearance as the home team at Globe Life Field this spring. The Mavericks defeated Tarleton State, 14-1 on Feb. 23 and lost to Oklahoma, 7-1 on Feb. 24. UTA is currently 19-22 and will host Arkansas-Little Rock in a three-game series this weekend.

Texas A&M will be the fourth school from the Southeastern Conference to play at Globe Life Field in 2021 as Arkansas, Mississippi, and Mississippi State all participated in the 2021 State Farm College Baseball Showdown. The Aggies are 24-19 entering this weekend’s three-game series at Mississippi State. Texas A&M’s last appearance at Globe Life Park was on March 4, 2014, a 5-4 victory over UTA.

General admission tickets are priced at $15 and can be purchased in advance at texasrangers.com/collegebaseball or the Globe Life Field box office located at the Southeast Gate of the park.
