Unite Arlington Community Service Weekend

Looking for a new way to give back to your hometown? Consider volunteering for one of dozens of community service projects identified across The American Dream City for the upcoming Unite Arlington weekend, Nov. 11-13, 2022.

The event is organized by Engage Arlington, a collaboration of churches seeking to create a community-wide movement of working together for the betterment of Arlington. During the Unite Arlington weekend service project, volunteers can participate in efforts such as park clean ups, home repairs for seniors, and school beautification. More than 50 indoor and outdoor projects for volunteers of all skill sets have been identified so far and hundreds of volunteers are sought for the event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, organizers said.

“As we turn into the holiday season, this is our opportunity to come together to lend a helping hand to our neighbors and our community who need our help,” said Art Hooker with Engage Arlington.

Check out the list of available projects, learn how to sign up as a volunteer and read more about requirements at www.unitearlingtontx.org. Volunteers will need to download the Common Gooder app at commongooder.com to select a project for the upcoming event.
