Downtown's Theatre Arlington is bringing back the glory days of Christmas past with its new production, "Hooray for Holidays: Theatre Arlington's Musical TV Special."

The production is inspired by classic Christmas specials featuring acts such as Andy Williams and Perry Como.

In "Hooray for Holidays," a group of former child stars is reunited 25 years later. But over time, they've lost their spark. Now, they're on a mission to make magical moments once again.

The show features some of Theatre Arlington's favorite performers along with a children's choir. There will be singing, dancing, comedy and a rotating list of guest stars, including Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams.

Cast members include Persis Ann Forster, Lori Woods Blondin, Micah Green, Steven D. Morris, Jordan Pratt and Tyler Thompson.

"Hooray for Holidays" opens Friday, Nov. 22 and runs through Dec. 15. There are shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. along with a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee. The Saturday, Dec. 14 show will also be a matinee to allow families time to enjoy the Arlington Holiday Lights Parade beginning at 6 p.m.
