Texas Christkindl Market Creates Magical Outdoor Holiday Experience in Arlington Nov. 25-Dec. 23, 2022
In its 12th year, the Texas Christkindl Market, presented by Reliable Commercial Construction, is a free, family friendly market in Arlington that features a unique shopping experience for holiday gifts, decorations, and unique one-of-a-kind finds. This year's event is scheduled from Nov. 25 through Dec. 23, 2022, at the North Plaza at Globe Life Field.
Inspired by the cherished German tradition, guests can shop for traditional handcrafted gifts and collectibles from exclusive Käthe Wohlfahrt merchandise and designs from the iconic Rothenburg ob der Tauber Christmas Village.
Indulging in German treats and eats while enjoying festive music and entertainment throughout the Market is always a crowd-pleaser. And, no visit is complete without stopping at St. Nikolaus for that iconic annual photo! Enjoy the beautiful sounds of traditional holiday music performed by local German groups, making this a must-attend destination in Arlington’s Entertainment District.
Special Events Not to Miss at the Texas Christkindl Market
Tree Lighting and Opening Ceremonies -7 p.m. Nov. 25
Kicking off the 2022 Market, the community is invited to join the Christkindl Angel at the Opening Ceremonies on Nov. 25. The angelic namesake of the event, the Christkind opens the market, sharing German holiday traditions with a special opening dedication. Special guests are invited to join the Angel as she lights up the 17-foot-tall Christkindl Tree, presented by Viridian DFW by Johnson Development.
Kinder Club
Before heading to see St. Nikolaus, children are invited to write a letter (or download a special template) at the Kinder Club online at: txchristkindlmarket.com/kinder-club. Letters should be dropped at the special red Mailbox by the Warming Haus at the Texas Christkindl Market!
St. Nikolaus
There’s nothing more legendary than a visit with St. Nikolaus at the Texas Christkindl Market, adorned in his beautiful robe and legendary beard. Every child, adult and even pets are invited to meet St. Nikolaus to share their special requests and photography packages may be purchased starting at $19.95. Hours for St. Nick may vary.
Kinder Kids Rootbeer Garden
Bring the whole family, especially the kids, for an interactive “Kinder Kids Root Beer Garden.” Hosted by Le Theatre de Marionette, enjoy special holiday-themed activities under the Texas skies including:
