The Arlington City Council supports youth and families as essential building blocks for the future of our American Dream City.

Whether collaborating with public and private educational institutions of all levels or providing programs and services directly that support youth and their families, the City of Arlington strives to help youth and their families reach their highest potential in life.

That includes the Arlington Public Library’s 5th year to provide free meals to children throughout the summer through a partnership with CitySquare. Under this program, youth ages 18 and under can receive free breakfast and lunches to take home from three library locations.

“Modern libraries are community hubs,” said Stacy Garcia, library administrator for programming and community engagement. “Especially at this time, it’s a priority for us to support Arlington’s children and families.”
